Providing a safe and Inclusive space

Saintfield Youth Club

A YOUTH CLUB FOR EVERYONE

Based in Saintfield Community Centre, the Saintfield Community Youth Club is a non-denominational, inclusive space for young people aged 5 -15 yrs. Established to address a lack of shared provision, the club brings together young people from different backgrounds in a neutral setting where they can meet, take part, and build positive relationships.

Weekly sessions offer a balanced programme of sport, arts, and social activities, supporting both personal development and community connection. Through partnerships, structured programmes, and youth leadership opportunities, the club promotes respect, inclusion, and participation, helping to strengthen community cohesion and provide a welcoming environment for young people to belong.

We are open every Saturday night during term time from 6pm to 7:15pm for the Juniors (P2-P6) and from 7:15pm to 8:30pm for the Seniors (P7-Y10).

Making Friends, Having Fun

Every Saturday night, our youth club offers young people a relaxed space to spend time together. Activities take place across different areas, with sport on the 3G pitch and arts, crafts, board games and badminton available in the hall. The studio includes foosball, pool, and table tennis and there have even been impromptu Karaoke sessions.

In the media room, young people can use Minecraft and a PS5 with FIFA and Lego Party. Throughout the year, we run themed sessions for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and summer. External providers also visit to introduce new sports, as well as sessions on mindfulness and  wellbeing, giving variety each week.

Get Involved

Our youth club is built on the commitment of our volunteers, who give their time to create a safe and welcoming space each Saturday night.  Alongside our adult team, our youth volunteers are a real strength –  young people from 4th year through to 18, who choose to give up their evening to support others, set a positive example, and help lead activities.

To keep the club running and continue offering opportunities to local young people, we need more volunteers.  Even giving one Saturday night a month can make a real difference, helping us stay open, maintain our programme, and ensure every  young person has somewhere to go.
