Keeping Saintfield Blooming
The Saintfield Greens Team works throughout the year to keep our village looking its best.
From planting and maintaining flower beds, hanging baskets and planters to watering, pruning and seasonal displays, a dedicated team of volunteers helps ensure Saintfield remains colourful, welcoming and attractive for residents and visitors alike.
Their efforts are recognised through Saintfield’s annual participation in the Translink – sponsored Ulster in Bloom Competition, where the village has enjoyed considerable success, including winning the Large Village Category in 2025.
These achievements reflect not only the hard work of the Greens Team but also the strong community pride that exists throughout Saintfield. While the beautiful summer displays are the most visible part of their work, planning, planting and maintenance take place all year round to keep Saintfield blooming in every season.

The Community Garden
Located to the rear of the Community Centre, the Community Garden is a shared space for growing, learning, and wellbeing. Maintained by volunteers, it supports biodiversity and provides opportunities for people of all ages to connect with nature.
